Maddalena Cerrato is Assistant Professor at the Bush School of Government and Public Service. She received her Ph.D in Political and Theoretical Philosophy from the Italian Institute for Humanities, Pisa. Her research is in the field of critical theory, political philosophy, and cyber-criticism. Her current research concerns the use of space and spatial categories in social and political theory, and it addresses the ways in which “cyberspace” and digital technologies challenge such theoretical framework. She published a scholarly monograph on the practical philosophy of Michel Foucault and many articles on nationalism, topology, community, and infrapolitics.
